The House

Recently re-modelled to a very high standard, the house is spacious and contemporary throughout. Situated in a secluded close between East Wittering and Bracklesham, with a large area of green to the front of the house. A spacious set up for a large family, it works equally well with two families holidaying together. The huge open plan kitchen / dining room / living area is full of light, and can more than comfortably accommodate a large group. With underfloor heating , wifi, smart TV, Netflix, board games and a huge American fridge/freezer, rainy days are covered.

Downstairs there are two bedrooms, a spacious king and a twin, as well as a large family bathroom. Upstairs a further two bedrooms include the master king and a flexible twin / super-king, and a second bathroom with walk in shower. A fantastic, family friendly garden to the rear includes a decked area immediately outside the bi-fold doors, a large artificial lawn, built in BBQ and corner hot tub.

Guest Access

Exclusive use of the entire property and garden with off road parking for up to three cars.

Set up with families in mind, the house and garden are secure for young children. Baby equipment, including travel cot with additional mattress, high chair and children plates and cutlery are provided, as well as a good selection of toys, books and DVD's (for the grown ups too)!! There is a utility area with washer / dryer, and space for hanging coats and storing muddy boots.

The neighbourhood

Within easy access of East Wittering and its shops, cafes and restaurants. There are some really great family friendly places which accommodate the need for early dining, as well as a butchers, bakery, delicatessen, green grocers, fishmongers and small local supermarkets for all your self-catering needs. In the other direction, well known Billy's on the Beach is a leisurely ten minute stroll. The house is also within a five minute walk of the local children's playground.

Fantastically located for National Trust's East Head and the beautiful West Wittering beach. East and West Wittering are great for wind surfing, kite surfing, sun seekers, walkers and families alike. Chichester is ten minutes’ drive with shops, cinema, bowling, lots of supermarkets and a beautiful city centre. Goodwood is just fifteen minutes away.

Getting around

There is a regular bus service to Chichester via both Bracklesham and West Wittering village on routes 52 and 53. The closest bus stop is just two minutes walk from the house on Stocks Lane. Chichester station is less than a 15 minute drive / taxi .

If you have your bikes with you there are lots of fantastic cycle routes all around the area. Your bikes can be stored in a secure storage area to the front of the house.

Other things to note

Very simple house rules...

• No smoking
• Not suitable for pets
• No parties or events
• Check-in after 3pm on day of arrival
• The house has been lovingly furnished and decorated, so please take care of it as you would your own home.
• The hot tub is there for your enjoyment but use after 9.00pm is strictly prohibited. We also ask that you do not play music outside after this time. Our neighbours are very lovely and we would like to respect their peace and quiet. There may also be times when the hot tub is not available due to maintenance or servicing.

The Owner

The house is owned by myself, Geraldine, and my husband Alex. We live in Brighton with our two gorgeous children, aged five and two. A physiotherapist by background, I've taken a break since having my youngest and have spent the last year project managing the renovation of our beautiful holiday house in East Wittering.

As a family we love to be outside, walking, cycling and exploring but we like to do so from the comfort of a lovely place to stay. We love The Witterings and our beautiful house .... we really hope you love it here as much as we do.
